Home Educator Day - Thursday 26th March 2026

Climate Conundrum – Home Educator Day!

We’re thrilled to announce a new date, with an important theme to match!

Thursday 26th March 2026

Are you ready to learn more about climate change, its impact on the world and the wildlife that call it home? This day is dedicated to learning more about the impact of climate change through our workshop, drop-in activities, talks and challenges.

There are 5, 30 minute Climate Change Challenge workshops available.

The world needs your help, but have you got what it takes to complete our climate change challenge? This fun, interactive session will help you learn more about climate change, environmental issues and sustainability while challenging your knowledge and putting your team working skills to the test solving a series of escape-room style puzzles.

These workshops are free and can be added to your basket at checkout (spaces are limited so we recommend booking in advance)! They will be held in our Pod at:

11:00 - 11.30 (Younger primary)

11.45 – 12.15 (Older primary)

13:00 – 13.30 (Secondary)

13.45 – 14.15 (Older primary)

14.30 – 15:00 (Secondary)

Please note, each workshop is the same but tailored to the age group, so please pick the workshop you feel is most appropriate for your entire group.

Our Home Educator Days are designed to welcome home educated children and their families to come and explore the zoo for just £16 (one adult and one child - including one day admission).

With a different theme running each session. The days are designed to offer flexibility and freedom with talks and activities running across the site, or why not book onto one of our educator-led workshops to take an interactive dive into the topic.
