Dartmoor Zoo Ticket Portal

FAQs / Help

What happens when I buy a ticket online?

On completion of your order, you will be emailed a DigiTicket containing a barcode and booking reference number.  Present this ticket on arrival at the zoo, or if you don’t have a printer, simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number or show it using your smart mobile phone.

Does my DigiTicket grant me 'fast-track' entry?

We don't currently offer a 'fast-track' service. However, on some busy days we may provide the option to bypass the queue.

Can I purchase a ticket in-store or on the day?

You can purchase tickets upon entrance, however, we strongly recommend booking in advance to ensure tickets are still available, especially during events or busy periods.

Where can I find out more information?

Please visit our website for full information, policies, and terms and conditions.

or call Dartmoor Zoo on 01752 837645.

Is there disabled access?

The majority of Dartmoor Zoo is accessible for wheelchair users and those with walking difficulties.

Please note that whilst nearly all of the Zoo is accessible to wheelchairs and buggies, it is quite rugged and some of our paths are steep. Caution should be exercised, and our team are ready to help when you need – just ask.

Are dogs allowed in the zoo?

At Dartmoor Zoo, animal welfare is our top priority and it is for this reason that we do not allow dogs on site or to be left in cars in our car park.

Registered Assistance Dogs

We’re happy to welcome Guide Dogs for the Blind, Disability Assistance Dogs, Disability Support Dogs, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Medical Assistance Dogs and Seizure Alert Dogs provided that they are fully registered, kept under control and accompanied by their owners.

Owners MUST show the relevant identification cards before entering the Zoo and all assistance dogs MUST wear their identifying jackets whilst on site. ID card and jackets are a part of the regulations for all registered and trained support dogs in the UK. For further information, please contact Assistance Dogs (UK).

We regret that we’re unable to allow dogs into the Zoo site unless fully trained, and certain areas where we have free ranging animals such as the ‘Walk Through’ remain out-of-bounds even to assistance dogs.

If you would like more information or have any queries, contact our team on 01752 837645 or email us.
