Keeper Experience (For up to two people)
You’ll be working alongside our expert zoo keeping team caring for a wide variety of species. You’ll learn about animal diet and nutrition, husbandry and our training and enrichment programmes that keep our animals healthy and happy.
This is a very hands-on experience starting at 9:30am and running to 1pm, so be prepared for a bit of hard work and dress appropriately. But don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time to take some memorable photos both during and after.
You’ll get involved with cleaning and feeding a variety of our animals including our peccaries, meerkats and gelada monkeys. Following a quick break, you'll head behind the scenes at our reptile and bug house before topping off the experience feeding our noisy otter family. Please note, this experience has no involvement with our big cats. To work with these animals, take a look at our carnivore keeper experience.
